Healthcare Workers Coalition
Our coalition comprises over 115 healthcare professionals from various fields united to combat healthcare and human rights violations in Palestine. Among our members are Canadian physicians, including those with firsthand experience in Gaza such as Dr. Yasser, an ophthalmologist and associate professor at McMaster University and University of Toronto, and Dr. Anas, a Canadian trauma surgeon. We engage in a range of initiatives including press conferences, educational webinars, email campaigns, fundraising projects, and more to advocate for healthcare justice.
Legal Coalition
Our coalition brings together over 100 legal professionals spanning various practice areas, dedicated to safeguarding legal rights related to Palestine domestically and internationally. We undertake diverse initiatives, from aiding with professional and regulatory complaints to ensuring institutional adherence to domestic laws, and mounting constitutional challenges to hold governments accountable. Our projects, both small and large in scale, are all geared towards pursuing justice for all.
Grassroots Team
Our grassroots team strives to make a tangible difference in support of the Palestinian cause. From coordinating impactful school walkouts spanning across Canada to orchestrating eye-catching overpass demonstrations throughout Ontario, our efforts have resonated far and wide. Moreover, our commitment extends beyond physical demonstrations; we have diligently produced and disseminated awareness-raising stickers, ensuring our message permeates every corner of our streets. Through collaborative teamwork and unwavering determination, we have channeled our Canadian spirit into action, advocating for justice and solidarity with Palestine with utmost dedication. Multifaith Coalition
Our Multifaith Coalition collaborates with other faith groups such as the Dr. Japhet United Church of Canada and Independent Jewish Voices to advocate for Palestinian human rights. We firmly believe that the Palestinian struggle transcends religious boundaries—it is a human struggle. Together with our partners from diverse faith backgrounds, we have spearheaded initiatives such as conferences demanding a ceasefire, demonstrating our collective commitment to justice and peace in the region.
